NDPC Represented by Head of Finance at High-Profile NCCIDE Meeting in Jos

The National Commissioner/CEO of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), Dr Vincent Olatunji, was ably represented by the Head of Finance, Management and Control Department of the Commission, Mr Olufemi Ibitayo, at the 13th National Council of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy (NCCIDE).

The NCCIDE, with the theme, “Accelerating Inclusive Digital Transformation: Bridging Gaps and Fostering Sustainable Growth Through Innovation,” had the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Caleb Muftwang, who was represented by the Deputy Governor of the state, Honourable Josephine Piyo, deliver the Opening Address, while the Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr ’Bosun Tijani, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Engineer Nadungu Gagare (FNAIE), delivered the Keynote Speech.

As part of the event, the NCCIDE delegates paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Honourable Josephine Piyo, as well as the Paramount Ruler of Berom Kingdom, President of the Plateau State Council of Traditional Rulers/Chiefs, Chairman of the Jos Traditional Council, Gbong Gwom Jos, His Royal Majesty, Da Jacob Gyang Buba (CFR).

The event brought together several State Commissioners and Permanent Secretaries, as well as important stakeholders in the Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy sector. Several Federal and State agencies were also represented at the event.
